This service converts your voice into data and allows you to place and receive phone calls over your high speed Internet connection. With AT&T CallVantage VoIP service, you simply plug your computer, your broadband Internet connection, and your standard household telephone into a "Telephone Adapter" which is provided as part of the service. If you have a high speed Internet connection, whether it is DSL, cable, or fiber, then you can sign up for and enjoy AT&T's CallVantage voice over IP phone service.

CallVantage provides unlimited local & long distance calls to anywhere in the U.S., and to Canada and Puerto Rico. International calls are billed at competitive per-minute rates.

Advanced Voice Over IP Features

CallVantage includes those standard features AT&T customers have come to expect from their phone service, including caller ID, call waiting, call forwarding and 3-Way calling. In addition, you get many additional features provided by VoIP technology:

Voice Mail - Check messages even while away from the phone or on another line.
Locate Me - Forward calls to a maximum of 5 numbers where you can be reached.
Do Not Disturb - Screens your incoming calls when you're awake or asleep.
Speed Dial - Set up shortcuts for the numbers you dial most.
Call Logs - View a list of the phone numbers you dial and the people who call you.
Phone Book - Store up to 250 names with up to six phone numbers for each name.
Fax & Modem Support - Operate commonly used fax machines and modems.

AT&T CallVantage also provides a special 911 service (called E-911 Service) for your registered primary service address. The standard service plan is $29.99 per month, but for customers with different needs, AT&T also has a $19.99/mo. local plan and a $49.99/mo. two-line VoIP plan.
