Beginners Guide To Internet Acronyms


Internet messaging on programs such as American Online Instant Messenger or Yahoo! Messenger began the art of abbreviating common phrases and keywords known as Internet acronyms. Internet messaging was only the beginning of Internet acronyms due to the rising popularity of Short Message Services (SMS) or, more commonly known as text messaging.
